Toy Boogers Continues to Build!
This is just the very beginning of our long-term vision for the universe and brand that we are building. The Toy Boogers NFT project is only six months old but we have some remarkable accomplishments under our belts in this short amount of time. Let’s explore what we’ve accomplished so far, what we are working on right now, and what we’re building next!
Major Accomplishments
1. Created, dropped, and sold out Toy Boogers, our handmade genesis collection of 3,333 NFTs, in November 2021
2. Signed a partnership deal with TIME Studios to develop an animated series for the Toy Boogers universe
3. Grew a first-class team to more than 10 members
4. Collaborated with more than 15 projects to add Toy Boogers traits and 1/1s into their NFT collections
5. Provided Toy Boogers holders with more than 30 exclusive presale raffles to incredible projects
6. Created, dropped, and sold out The Kitbash Boogers collection, an epic collab collection between Toy Boogers, Cool Cats, Deadfellaz and Robotos
What’s next?
The Toy Stash Collection!!!
We are super excited to announce “Toy Stash,” a generative NFT collection based on our beloved hamster character named Stash who made his first appearance in the original Toy Boogers collection!
Holders of Toy Boogers and Kitbash Boogers will be rewarded with one FREE Toy Stash NFT claim PER Toy Boogers or Kitbash Boogers NFT that you hold. This rewards our current holders with 40% of the entire Toy Stash collection as free claims! Holders will also have special presale access for additional Toy Stash NFTs during the mint. The collection size will total 11,111 NFTs, the mint price is TBD, and the target drop date is late Summer.
Stash is the Mastermind
We recently discovered (as many people suspected) that Stash was the one who stuck the booger on the teleportation machine’s focusing crystal in the original Toy Boogers backstory! As you all know, this is what caused the wild transformations to occur to the Toy Boogers characters, just as Stash had devised. Stash is the mastermind behind what has been happening in the Toy Boogers universe and his plan continues to unfold!
This time he rigged his hamster wheel onto the metaverse teleportation machine and activated it while running as fast as he could on the hamster wheel. This let him go through the teleportation vortex thousands of times while the machine was activated. With each pass on the hamster wheel through the vortex, new versions of himself were created and teleported into the metaverse to live forever on the blockchain as NFTs. Each copy of himself underwent the same type of ridiculous transformations that the original Toy Boogers went through. Thousands of cute, wacky, and gnarly hamsters are now running wild in the metaverse waiting to be adopted by NFT collecting degens! It’s all part of his master plan that has been set into motion and will continue to unfold!
The Toy Stash collection has tremendous purpose and great importance for the long-term vision of the Toy Boogers project, universe, and story. The Toy Stash collection is not a “companion” collection. Stash is one of our main characters and the Mastermind of Toy Boogers!
Toy Boogers Membership
“Membership” within the “Toy Boogers Fam” is one and the same regardless of which one of our NFT collections is held. However, there will be an extra value and incentive to collect and hold the genesis Toy Boogers collection and the Kitbash Boogers collection, along with the upcoming Toy Stash collection. This will be applicable in the future within the Toy Boogers reward ecosystem as we continue to build and continue to give back to our holders. This incentivizes collecting and holding any or all of the Toy Boogers collections, but at the same time provides full membership status regardless of which collection you hold. There are no “half-members” in our community.
What We’re Building Behind the Scenes
Metaverse Integrations
The Toy Boogers backstory is about a bunch of NFT degens trying to physically teleport themselves into the metaverse, and the wild transformations that happened to them because Stash stuck a booger on the machine’s focusing crystal. With this type of backstory, it’s only natural that we have some long-term metaverse integration plans involving both character avatar development, and land development. This is a long-term plan with the goal of expanding the artistic expression, the utility, the presence, and value of our project into multiple metaverse ecosystems.
Metaverse development is a long-term and multifaceted objective of ours that will evolve and expand naturally over time, but we are getting started early so we are ready for integration with exciting projects like Sandbox and Otherside when they are fully open and ready for meetups, games, and Treasure Hunts.
Merchandise and Toys
We have been working on a high quality and long-term vision of our merchandise brand, which includes streetwear and toys. We are currently working with a partner on prototypes for a series of clothing items and a line of toys, both of which are being designed to be limited and collectible in nature. More details will be announced soon.
Collaborations
Toy Boogers has always celebrated and participated in the collaborative spirit of the web3 community. We’ve collaborated with over 15 projects in which Toy Boogers traits and 1/1s were added into their collections, and we plan to continue this tradition and collaborate with other artists, communities, and initiatives.
Our Partnership with TIME Studios to develop an Animated Series
Our partnership with TIME Studios to develop an animated series is one of the most exciting elements of Toy Boogers project! An animated series gives us a massive opportunity to build out the Toy Boogers universe, enrich our narrative, and solidify our brand within the web3 space, and expand it to a much broader mainstream audience as well. A ton of work is happening behind the scenes on this endeavor that we can’t talk about just yet, so hang tight for now and stay tuned!
